What is the Modified Customer Interface for PSD2:

Under the PSD2 Regulatory Technical Standard (RTS), Payment Institutes are required to publish both a dedicated interface as well as a fallback / contingency interface for PSD2 Access to Account (XS2A). If certain strict conditions are met, they can avail of and get exempted from one of these. The Self Assessment Tool is for organisations to check if they require a PSD2 MCI or not. In case you do need to publish an MCI, it must meet requirements specified by both the PSD2 and GDPR (or equivalent applicable data protection regulations) and meet all requirements related to TPP verification and checking using eIDAS certificates.
